Elliott Studios is always busy looking after Nick’s images and the task that has dominated activities of late is the re-distribution of limited edition fine art to sell in our partner galleries.
New work for new collectors has been printed, mounted and framed – a precision job which can’t be rushed. This month we’ve been handling around 35 images and, now, they’re ready for wrapping and distribution.
The fabulous images in these photographs will soon be en-route to our newest gallery to the fold – specialist music art and book publishers Red Label Publishing, who will be the exclusive online supplier of Nick’s work.
Red Label Publishing are currently developing the new online gallery at: www.redlabelpublishing.com but in the meantime, you can check out the news as it develops on their blog at www.redlabelpublishing.co.uk.

You can’t get more ‘rock-chick’ than the subject of Nick’s shoot earlier this week – 7-string metal guitarist and singer/songwriter, The Commander In Chief.
Nick created some awesome shots to accompany an interview with The Commander in American rock publication Revolver Magazine next month and to promote her next tour.
So, we thought you may like to sneak a peak backstage to see how the shoot came together…

Mark Overton of Off Beat Lounge with Nick
A new exciting partnership with unique album art and licensing specialists, Off Beat Lounge, was cemented today with the delivery of four of Nick’s limited edition images.
Specialising in offering some of the world’s most iconic music related photography and rare signed album artwork, Off Beat invited Nick to be the final member of an exclusive group of four of the world’s leading rock photographers including Mick Rock, Dennis O’Regan and Michael Spencer Jones.
We’re delighted with the partnership, this is what owner, Mark Overton, had to say about it all:
“Having been a private collector of signed fine art rock photography & limited edition album cover prints for quite some time, I decided to launch Off Beat Lounge in 2010, and in doing so, morph my love of rock art into a business.
Now, having opened our first gallery and consultation service in Norwich, I’m delighted that Nick Elliott has made some of the very finest live shots ever taken available to Off Beat clients.
Nick’s ability to capture some of the greatest innovators and performers in rock music at close quarters is a marvel to behold, and without hesitation I’d now place Nick’s work above the vast majority of live photography available.
In person, Nick Elliott rocks as much as the imagery he captures. One is left in no doubt that his camera is every bit his Les Paul or Stratocaster.
Over the coming years Off Beat Lounge will be working closely with Nick Elliott, and offering not only opportunities to view and acquire his amazing work, but also, on a few rare occasions, the chance to ask him a few questions over a beer. More than ever, we’re worth knowing…..We’re Off Beat! “

Nick is renowned for making the most of any opportunity to get the best shot possible so when asked to cover the Black Stone Cherry and Rival Sons gigs, he looked at every possible angle.
From sound-check and through to the performance, Nick shot the bands on-stage, side-stage and off-stage at Norwich UEA last night.
This was the first time Nick had caught up with the brilliant Rival Sons since the Classic Rock awards in November and the high energy rockers Black Stone Cherry since their VIP acoustic gig early last year.
As usual, Nick got into whatever position he could to get THE photo. If you were there, it may have been difficult to spot him in the pit but on stage there was no missing him.

Last week Nick was shooting on location with the mighty Thin Lizzy, the first time he’d got together with them since the backstage project at High Voltage in July 2011.
The band is currently touring and Nick’s catching up with them again on the Cambridge leg of their tour for some on-stage shots.
From what we heard, Thin Lizzy are of top form, so if you want to see them live, check out the tour dates on their site.

Nick was invited to the seventh Classic Rock Roll Of Honour at the Roundhouse, London, this week to shoot some of the biggest rock stars of all time.

The red carpet was a complete frenzy of media activity when the rockers arrived for the evening and to hear who was going to be honoured with a gong.
Amongst the famous faces Nick snapped were KISS’s Gene Simmons, Queen’s Brian May, the legend Jeff Beck, Motorhead’s Lemmy, Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes, Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson, the lovely Joss Stone and Hanoi Rock’s Michael Monroe.
It caught us by surprise when autograph hunters mobbed Nick when we first arrived and what promised to be a bit of a crazy evening turned out that way!
Nick was part of the Planet Rock team at the event so check out the full story and see Nick’s fabulous images of rock royalty on their website at: http://fb.me/1eY2aAwiC

…but we like it!
Nick was interviewed this evening by Star Radio presenter Neil Jones for his specialist rock show on 107.9FM. Chatting about life as a rock photographer and the imminent launch of his debut book TEN, Nick confessed that ACDC was his favourite band and Rory Gallagher one of his inspirations.
