Nick has been invited to be part of a unique three-day event showcasing the work of five of the world’s most revered rock photographers.
Château Les Carrasses, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of the south of France, is to host RockArtWine festival (RAW) in May where Nick will be exhibiting a range of limited edition fine art rock photography.
As well as making several personal appearances over the event, collectors will also have the chance to meet and chat with Nick about his illustrious career and life ‘backstage’.
The other members of the ‘famous five’ photographers invited to the event are: Aubrey Powell, Michael Spencer Jones, Dieter Zill and Denis O’Regan.
Here’s what RAW has to say about it all…

Nick is renowned for making the most of any opportunity to get the best shot possible so when asked to cover the Black Stone Cherry and Rival Sons gigs, he looked at every possible angle.
From sound-check and through to the performance, Nick shot the bands on-stage, side-stage and off-stage at Norwich UEA last night.
This was the first time Nick had caught up with the brilliant Rival Sons since the Classic Rock awards in November and the high energy rockers Black Stone Cherry since their VIP acoustic gig early last year.
As usual, Nick got into whatever position he could to get THE photo. If you were there, it may have been difficult to spot him in the pit but on stage there was no missing him.

No, we’re not trying to bring a Saint into disrepute, he’s already rocking in Birmingham!
The wonderful St Pauls Gallery, which specialises solely in music wall art, will be representing Nick’s work and we’re really excited about it! We’re getting an exclusive collection of limited edition images together especially for their customers and will let you know when they’ll be ready for you to pop along and have a look at.
In the meantime, here’s what Symon Bland, Owner at St Pauls Gallery, had to say about it:
“We are delighted and excited to be working with Nick as we have admired his work for some time now. His ability to bring these stills to life is testament to his skill behind the lens and adding his repertoire of images to St Pauls Gallery is a pleasure and privilege.”
Welcome to the show!

For a completely different gallery experience, hop aboard The Barge Gallery in Stratford-upon-Avon who, we’re proud to say, are now showing Nick’s work. In the tranquil setting of the canal basin, the barge is literally in the shadow of another form of art – the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Alan Thornton, Owner of The Barge Gallery, said:
“It is said that music defines all our lives, conjuring up memories of our past. It could be said that Nick’s images define the music, capturing those moments for life. If that’s the case, it should be said that Nick’s images define our lives, visualising memories of our past.”
Very poetic.

The studio is excited about showing Nick’s work in a new gallery in Hockley, Nottingham. Muchos Cuadros – or ‘many pictures’ to you and me – has taken possession of a range of collections to show in their wonderful contemporary space. George Thornton, Director at Muchos Cuadros Art Gallery, commented:
“In a world where everyone is a photographer it’s an absolute delight to deal with an artisan such as Nick Elliott. A master with the camera! Each photo carefully shot to allow the customer the unique opportunity to immerse themselves within the power of the music!”
So pop along when you can!
