It’s less than a week until Nick’s Size Matters show makes its debut in front of 65,000 people at Pageant of Power (CPOP) at Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire, and the presses are rolling!
With 13 of Nick’s stunning images produced as eight meters high individual freestanding exhibits, Size Matters is set to be largest ever outside art exhibition of its kind.
Nick Elliott explained: “I wanted to produce something on an enormous scale that would re-create the experience I had when I shot the image.
“The exhibition is about immersing the observer in the live performance, so it had to be as big as possible to provide a truly memorable experience.
“I’m very grateful that Structure-flex has had the necessary expertise to bring the project to life and produce the final exhibits to such a high quality that does my images justice.”
The trials for the construction have taken place and all is set for a great event.
James Hall, event director at Pageant of Power, said: “We’re really pleased to be welcoming such a great range of music-related entertainment to this year’s event. With the Castle as a backdrop, the atmosphere combined with brilliant music will create an unforgettable festival experience.
“From the previews we’ve seen of the Size Matters exhibition, we’re expecting it to be a really impressive display and we’re proud that one of the world’s greatest rock photographers has chosen CPOP for its debut.”
