We are excited to announce a very personal project that Nick is launching – Twenty Five.
Twenty Five is in aid of pancreatic cancer and is to commemorate his mother, Coral Elliott, who died of the disease 25 years ago in January 2019.
Nick aims to create a ‘living’ project by shooting 25 portraits of notable subjects over 25 months to create awareness of the disease and raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Action.
The style of photography adopted by Nick will reflect his traditional roots and the method of capturing the images will incorporate those he used 25 years ago before the digital age, namely film and darkroom processing.
The project will tell the story in words as well as pictures and culminate in a series of touring exhibitions and a limited edition book of images from Twenty Five, the first of which is planned for November 2019 to mark Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
Twenty Five aims to raise £25,000 through donations (both private and commercial), and the sale of limited edition images, books, and merchandise, and funds will be collected via Nick’s Just Giving page.
Sponsorship is essential to fund Twenty Five and Nick is grateful to all partners who are supporting the project. Anyone wishing to get involved can contact us for more information.
