A MESSAGE FROM THE ITALIAN OFFICE…

We asked Raffaella how she met Nick and how she became part of his world.

Here’s the answer!

“ I met Nick casually on Twitter in 2015, I didn’t know who he was or what he did in life. Initially it was complicated to communicate, let’s say we both didn’t trust each other.

Slowly and with the passage of time we have broken down the barriers and today I can say that Nick is the friend that each of us would like in our lives, he is faithful, sincere, sensitive and always there.

But it’s not just this!!!

Guys!!! Nick has a gift that few have, he knows how to capture moments of life that only his gaze can capture and he does it through his art, photography!

His shots are not banal images, if they are observed with extreme attention they all have a peculiarities.

When he asked me to become his PA In Italy, I felt honoured and proud, but also terrified.

I said to myself ‘ Guys he works with names that I would never dream of knowing in my entire life!’

I didn’t really know where to start but his words to me were ‘ Raffy , you watch at my work with sensitivity and with a gaze full of attention to even the smallest details and I wouldn’t want anyone else to represent me in your country! You know exactly what I’m doing and what I want to continue doing, the experience will come, but you already have the passion for my art!’

I can say with certainty guys, that I have never regretted, not even just for a second , having accepted!

Nick’s work decorates my home and are the most precious thing I can own, every day looking at them and I discover different details. They are not just photographs, they are intense journeys into other people’s emotions.

So I would like to say to each of you.. ‘ look at the work of this Artist with wide-open and clean eyes, you will discover that you feel emotions that maybe you had forgotten.’

To Nick I want to say this…

‘ I could never have met a more beautiful person inside and out in the world… Thank you for making me part of your team , your world and your life.’”
