Lounging around with Off Beat

Mark Overton of Off Beat Lounge with Nick

A new exciting partnership with unique album art and licensing specialists, Off Beat Lounge, was cemented today with the delivery of four of Nick’s limited edition images.

Specialising in offering some of the world’s most iconic music related photography and rare signed album artwork, Off Beat invited Nick to be the final member of an exclusive group of four of the world’s leading rock photographers including Mick Rock, Dennis O’Regan and Michael Spencer Jones.

We’re delighted with the partnership, this is what owner, Mark Overton, had to say about it all:

“Having been a private collector of signed fine art rock photography & limited edition album cover prints for quite some time, I decided to launch Off Beat Lounge in 2010, and in doing so, morph my love of rock art into a business.

Now, having opened our first gallery and consultation service in Norwich, I’m delighted that Nick Elliott has made some of the very finest live shots ever taken available to Off Beat clients.

Nick’s ability to capture some of the greatest innovators and performers in rock music at close quarters is a marvel to behold, and without hesitation I’d now place Nick’s work above the vast majority of live photography available.

In person, Nick Elliott rocks as much as the imagery he captures. One is left in no doubt that his camera is every bit his Les Paul or Stratocaster.

Over the coming years Off Beat Lounge will be working closely with Nick Elliott, and offering not only opportunities to view and acquire his amazing work, but also, on a few rare occasions, the chance to ask him a few questions over a beer. More than ever, we’re worth knowing…..We’re Off Beat! “

‘Festival of Colours’

Resident in galleries around the UK, collections of Nick’s fine art photography is available to buy all year round.

But occasionally Nick is invited to participate in special exhibitions and next month, Storm Fine Arts is running ‘Festival of Colours’ in celebration of their second anniversary.

We’ll bring you pictures from the VIP private viewing Nick will be attending, but why not pop along yourselves and enjoy the show?

‘Festival of Colours’ will be running from 7th April to 4th June at Storm Fine Arts in Burnham Market, Norfolk.

Oil be seeing you

Nick with oil paintings by Zinsky (centre) and Tredici

Nick has been to visit the newly released oil paintings of his images of Motorhead’s Lemmy and Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant.

We brought you news of Tredici’s Robert Plant last week and are delighted to see that he has now produced another for the collection – this time of Nick’s Lemmy. Both images are available to purchase – Robert Plant at £3,500 and Lemmy at £1,800.

Contemporary artist Zinsky is also currently working on some new pieces of Nick’s images and his portrait of Lemmy is available to purchase at £5,000.

More information is available from art dealer, Mark Fisher, on 07739 345654 or fishermark1965@yahoo.co.uk who is handling the sale.

Artist Tredici takes up the brush

Nick's Robert Plant by Tredici

Hot on the tail of the news about contemporary artist Zinsky painting his version of Nick’s image of Lemmy, rising artist Tredici has also taken up the brush to produce his own paintings of Nick’s images.

First in the collection is this stunning oil painting of the one and only Robert Plant and he is currently working on further paintings for the collection, which will be revealed soon.

We think it is just brilliant and a wonderful compliment from the art world about Nick’s creative talent.

Both works of art are available from art dealer, Mark Fisher, on 07739 345654 or fishermark1965@yahoo.co.uk and more oil paintings of Nick’s work by Tredici and Zinsky will be coming soon.

Nick’s Lemmy painted in oils

Last year we brought you news about the reclusive, sensational, artist Zinsky being so inspired by Nick’s images that we agreed to grant a licence to permit him to reproduce a collection of paintings of Nick’s work in his own contemporary style.

Zinsky loved Nick’s images of Motorhead frontman Lemmy and has produced this exquisite 52″ x 35″ canvas oil painting as the first piece of art in the collection.

This framed orignal is available to purchase for £5,000 from art dealer, Mark Fisher, on 07739 345654 or fishermark1965@yahoo.co.uk.

More oil paintings of Nick’s work by Zinsky will be coming soon.  We can’t wait to see them!
