Over the next three months, copies of Nick’s book TEN will be touring select venues throughout the UK with Nick also being available to sign copies of the limited edition book.
Mandell’s handle it…
Kicking the tour off was Mandell’s Art Gallery in the cosmopolitan Elm Hill in Norwich who took possession of one of the fabulous deluxe versions of the book, which is strictly limited to only 200 copies.
Storming along…
The second venue on the tour was the contemporary Storm Fine Arts in Burnham Market who were hosting a private viewing to celebrate Christmas.
The evening was rounded off with a signing of the standard edition, which is limited to only 1,000. Two deluxe versions are currently on sale in the gallery, so why not pop along and see one for yourself?
More dates will follow soon so keep visiting the blog for information as it unfolds.

Last month we brought you news that Nick has embarked on an exciting photo-documentary project with the legendary Rochdale Cowboy, Mike Harding.
As a singer, songwriter, comedian, author, poet, broadcaster and playwright, Mike Harding is an incredible entertainer and Nick aims to capture every essence of this special man.
Part two of the project saw Nick and the team catching up with Mike on his Me, a guitar and some more daft stuff tour at the Nottingham Playhouse where Nick and his camera shadowed him backstage, sidestage, frontstage, onstage, indeed every stage!
It was another late one, but enjoyable as ever!

Music magazine Fatea has been covering the Cambridge Folk Festival for 21 years and, for some of that time, Nick has shot images of the festival for the magazine.
So, it must have been fate that one day Nick would find himself the subject of an interview by Managing Editor Neil King…….http://tinyurl.com/3vdmw4q

Thanks to ex-Pulp member Richard Hawley and Cambridge Folk Festival star Bella Hardy for your fabulous quotes for TEN-A Decade In Images:
“Nick’s photographs capture a festival performance feeling which is so hard to put into words; it’s something primal, a feeling fuelled by adrenaline and fear and the way the crowd spurs you on. It’s an honour to be included in his collection.” Bella Hardy
“Proof that I do set up my own equipment! I like this picture – when all the bullshits done with, it’s good to be shown for what I am; a guitarist first and foremost. It was a real privilege to be asked to appear at Cambridge; it has a great history so it’s lovely to be a small part of that. And the audience were amazing – it was a special day for me.” Richard Hawley
Only 18 days to go the book launch and counting. If you’re yet to order your book, hot foot it down to publisher Rufus Stone now http://tinyurl.com/6gw5vn9

We’ve been rcceiving some lovely quotes from the folk community about Nick’s images in the newly released book: TEN – A Decade In Images.
Here are just a few…
“A great book of photographs from one of the greatest folk festivals in the world. As a fellow photographer I am more than a little jealous of Nick’s work. His images capture the atmosphere of many, many magic moments.” Mike Harding
“Nick’s talent is in capturing a unique moment in every artist’s performance that takes you to the very place their music belongs. I’m very fond of his photo of me at Cambridge, I look pretty relaxed and I was surprised he managed to capture a rare moment when my eyes were open while I was singing. Very few have done the same so well.” Cara Dillon
“I have had the good fortune to perform at Cambridge Festival many times since the early 90s and I have great memories of each one. Nick’s book of photographs captures some of these memories and brings them to life once more. I am honoured to be included in such a brilliant line-up. Thanks Nick.” Sharon Shannon
Thanks to you all, you rock!
