Well!

After it taking so long to actually make the Nick Elliott Podcasts show a reality, I’m so glad I did!

Over the past three or four months, since starting the very first show, it seems to have gained so much momentum. We have many followers and we are now well approaching the 500 download Mark! Unfortunately, sometimes it’s a case of just a lack of time, making these additions a regular event, but when I do the same and are turning out to be very successful.

Make sure you continue to listen.

Back in the Studio at SirenFM!

Finally after nearly a 3 year break, due to the on going pandemic issues with the dreaded Covid, the last time I was in at Siren, I was making the 55th Sound and Nick’s Vision Radio Show. This last week I was invited back to the SirenFM Studios as a guest to talk about the forthcoming premiere of the documentary “Nick Elliott The Story So Far.’’

The launch of the film, with a very special VIP premiere is to be held at The Forum, Norwich on Saturday May 20th with Alex Lewzcuk being on that very exclusive guest list. He decided that we needed to have a chat live on air on his Mid Week Drive Show hosted by Alex each Wednesday Evening on the station.

We were joined by a a few special guests while tasting some hand made environmentally friendly chocolate, along with interviews and chats with a few of the regulars from around the globe.

It was great to get back into a proper studio again after such a long time. I do think that Zoom has it’s place when doing interviews over a long distance or internationally. But you just can’t beat live radio.

LISTEN TO 2 GOING MAD

You can now listen to Nick and Andy talking nonsense in a new ‘2 Go Mad In Norfolk’ podcast.

Nick and Andy, producer of Aturn Films, have been filming the ‘2 Go Mad In Norfolk’ series over the last 18 months, and have now developed it into an amusing, lighthearted podcast, where the boys can be heard giving their opinions on the serious issues of bondage, home-cooked chips, popular sayings, ailments and the U.K. weather, to name a few.

Q & A. PART 13

Nick Elliott…

Ask Nick Elliott……….anything.

Q1. Of all the things that you are involved in, what makes you the most excited? D. Penn Cornwall U.K.

A1. What makes me more excited than anything is to tick the boxes of a life long dream, which is to eventually release all the ideas and creative frustrations that have been pent up inside of me my whole life. The concepts that I have had in my head for years and to turn them into reality and make imagery from them that expresses how I felt. It’s the next chapter.

Q2. What do you do when you are not working? D. Forde Coventry U.K.

A2. I spend time with my partner, I like a good walk, watch classic British comedy, and some of the great classic Films, and I can always fit in a nap every now and again!

Q3. Out of all your projects, what was the steepest learning curve for you? A.Feliciano. Italy

A3. My Dark Art Projects have uncovered facets to me that I am still discovering about myself, so I suppose that has become my steepest learning curve. They released many pent up emotions, it felt like a personal unveiling, a liberating experience. Then taking all that emotion and actually producing art from those feelings, I found it so creative because I didn’t and still don’t care of the consequences.

Q4. If you could switch places with someone, who would it be? J.Bell NY USA

A4. David Bailey, without a doubt. He has led many lives in one lifetime and achieved so many great things.

Q5. In photography what is the most challenging image you have captured. I. Mkrtchuan. Sheffield U.K.

A5. My Dark Art was, and continues to be the most challenging of images that I have taken. Capturing my raw physical emotion in self portraits, its very difficult to bring that emotion to a visionary form that I feel portrays my message.
