We often receive requests about Nick’s background and what has lead up to him becoming one of the world’s most renowned rock photographers.

So, we’re introducing a series of short videos; Just A Minute, where Nick answers some key questions about his work and career in the music industry.

Behind the scenes of The Guardian cameo

You may have seen our recent reports about Nick turning actor for the day to appear in a film, The Guardian, for a small cameo role, well we were on hand to record the moment in history so that we could bring you a short clip of him in action.

The Guardian, produced by Aturn Films, is a comedy drama that tells the story of the afterlife through the eyes of three main characters and Nick was invited to join the cast by Director Andy Turner.

The film will be released soon but to whet your appetite, here’s our video short of Nick in action:

Behind the scenes of Ghost Ships

Nick has been involved in a lot of wonderful projects throughout the year and we’ve already brought you some stories about those in the Press Office already.

One of the shoots that Nick was involved in earlier in the year was Ghost Ships, a personal project featuring Lindsay Barn as one of the models in a fabulous location that, unfortunately, we aren’t able to make public.

If Every Day Was Like Christmas

OK, we’re early, but the Christmas video Nick guested in at the legendary Pinewood Studios last year for British Country Music Award winner Gary Curtis has just been re-released with additional scenes.

If Every Day Was Like Christmas features Nick in a cast of celebrities including: actor Paul Barber (Denzil in Only Fools and Horses); singer Anne Nolan (formerly of The Nolans); actress Sally Geeson (of the Carry On films); and Brian Murphy (George in Man About The House), amongst others.

Keeping up with recent developments in technology, Nick’s website has been redesigned with brand new features and interactive capabilities for viewing on all modern-day devices.

In addition to showcasing his online portfolio in a number of separate galleries and detailing his regular shows and exhibitions, it also introduces a new private client area.

An online store continues to offer visitors the chance to purchase fine art prints, books and bespoke furniture and, of course, there is a link back to the press office so clients can all keep up to date with the news.

Nick’s Tracks of My Years feature on Endeavour Radio is charting in the independent charts.

The latest show, with Nick chatting to Rock Show presenter, Chris  Moore, is already at number 9 in the Interview chart, 15th in the Community Radio chart and 48th in the Rock chart!

The show celebrated Deep Purple’s Made in Japan, but don’t worry if you missed it, you can listen to the past six shows on the Press Office Radio Channel.

In the next show in the Tracks of Nick’s Years series, he will be talking about the influence The Who has had on his life and career.

So, make sure you listen in on 21st July to hear more about the albums and bands that have provided the soundtrack to his life.

Rockin’ at Goodwood Festival of Speed

The prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed is, arguably, the most appealing of summer motoring events so we’re excited that Nick’s work will be included in the Off Beat Lounge exhibition of Rock Tops in the Exclusively Lifestyle Pavillion next week.

Rock Tops, the custom-made tables, desks and surfaces featuring Nick’s iconic images within finest quality heat-strengthened glass, are being introduced to the 180,000-plus visitors who attend the four-day extravaganza for the first time.
