Nick is stepping into the spotlight once again, this time as a leading actor in the highly anticipated feature film “Diamond Dogs.” The film follows retired criminals as they embark on one last heist—a daring bank job that promises to challenge their skills.
The project began in August of last year, after Nick was approached in June with the opportunity. Filming started in early August 2024, and started again in October of the same year where Nick and his fellow cast members braved subfreezing temperatures for two and a half weeks. Despite the cold, the crew worked hard, getting great shots. After a short break over the Christmas period Filming started again in January for nearly two and half weeks. and will continue again March 7th through to the 10th, focusing on several key scenes.
The film, commissioned by TV Bandits in association with Aturn Films, is set to enter post-production shortly after filming wraps up in July. The editing team is already hard at work, aiming for an August release date. Initial interest around “Diamond Dogs” has sparked significant attention from major streaming companies and journalists alike, all eager to see what Nick and the team have created.
As for Nick, he is fully committed to the project and recognizes the challenges that come with the film industry. “It’s tough work, but it’s also really rewarding,” he says. “This is what it’s all about!”
Be sure to check out the trailer below to catch a glimpse of the thrilling moments this film has to offer!

Apart from long days in silly cold temperatures “it’s been a fabulous gig, it really has.“ I will be very sad when it all comes to an end.

Nick has been very excited about being approached by Producer and Director Kris Smith from the production company TV Bandits about his lead role in the brand new feature film Diamond Dogs.
The film which stars Nick as the character Paul Canterbury along side his co host of 2Go Mad in Norfolk Andy Blithe, playing the role of Rick Foster, the pair play two heavy duty villains getting together to commit the very last blag before they retire for good.
The film is in the true sense of the word a proper English comedy.
Last week saw the full crew shooting the first four scenes of the film in the picturesque setting of Paignton, and Brxham in Devon.
Pictured below:

“Nick is one of a kind, a unique actor, who has provided more than just his genuine charismatic performance on Diamond Dogs. He also collaborated on the script to bring out more comedic value on set. Something that is very rare these days.”
Kris Smith Producer, Director.
It’s a marvellous opportunity for me to be offered my first main acting role in any feature film, having been asked many times to do cameo parts before in various productions.
I’m totally fuckin MAD FOR IT!!

Yeah that’s right!
After a straight 14 days on location at various places throughout Norfolk, it’s done.
What a fantastic time, fantastic crew, fantastic laughs but totally dog shit weather for most of the time.
The new series of 2GO MAD IN NORFOLK is finished!
It’s been a lot of late nights, early mornings and a hell of a lot of miles driven. This series will be even better than the last.

We do have to tell you, that we did slightly venture over the border into Suffolk, but when you see the show you hopefully will understand why.
It was totally worth the diversion.

Make sure you keep watching!!

I would also like to welcome the new members of the crew Kris Smith; Cameraman, and Steve Knight; Cameraman and Darren Joy; Sound.
Very much looking forward to starting production on SERIES 3.
Coming real soon to a TV near YOU!

We all think it’s totally fantastic news and hope very much that we manage to win!
Let’s hope so…
Obviously we will let you know as soon as we know.
I would like to thank again producer and director Andy Blithe and all at ATurn Films for making all this possible.

This last week saw the start of shooting for a brand new feature film from the studios of ATurn Films. Owner and Director Andy Blithe has invited Nick to produce the promo and advertising artwork for his latest production titled “Buying Time”

Shooting started the second week of November on location in Norwich at various parts of the city with the crew hooking up with Nick where they shot five scenes from early on in the movie.

The film is expected to take most of 2024 to shoot and produce most of the film will concentrated on various locations both in and out of Norwich, with a big cast coming from various parts of the UK to feature.
Andy has also asked Nick to be a part of the cast playing a cameo roll later in the movie to be film sometime in the spring of 2024.

“I came up with the concept of the story about 3 years ago. It explores several themes including the future of health and some linked conspiracy theories. ‘ Daniel Avery has lost his wife and child recently. As a result of some random dreams and some linked chance sightings, he investigates his suspicions. But little did he know how high and wide the corruptness goes, all for the usual money and greed and the power of those in higher places’ This feature film is my first one and it is my most ambitious project to date. However as people who know me, I will get it done and it promises to be a wonderful piece of work that is already starting to gain some interest. We are looking for backers to help with the film and would love to speak to anyone interested in getting involved”
Andy Blithe
Owner & Director at ATurn Films
Should be an exciting 2024 I think!

Q1. What is the one thing that you know now that you wished you knew when you were 20 years old? (Jason D. Essex UK)
A1. It’s not wrong to be different and be your true self. (Nick Elliott)
Q2. How do you improve your photography over the years? (B Angus Lincoln UK)
A2. My photography has improved because I no longer care, because caring means conforming and I have never conformed creativity to anything in my life. (Nick Elliott)
Q3. What does producing your images mean to you? Great fan of your work. I’m looking forward to seeing your Dark Art. (D Ellis London UK)
A3. The importance of my work to me, is immeasurable really. Each image is an expression of emotions, feelings, attitudes and moods. It’s an addiction rather than a want, to produce art, and when I can’t it makes me restless. ( Nick Elliott)
Q4. What type of cameras and lenses do you use? (JD Barker Norfolk.UK.)
A4. I’ve always used a combination of Canon, Roliflex and Mamyia cameras. My lenses are Canon EF. (Nick Elliott)
Q5. Can you tell me what tools you use to post produce and edit your images? What makes you realise you have a great image? (H Graeme. Hindleveston. UK)
A5. I edit through Photoshop. I always do 2 edits, first one to chop out the shit and the second to narrow it down tighter to see if the image will work as I initially saw it. When I see the shot I normally see it in black-and-white, not all images work in colour and vice versa. The image is about a statement and style and that interpretation can get lost if not post produced correctly. It’s about a deeper understanding of shadows, light, subjects, angles and individual style.
“Although Photoshop is the tool I use to edit and post produce my images, my eyes and sense of connection with my art and surroundings, delivers the message I want to convey”. (Nick Elliott)

(AN ITALIAN TREAT)

Nick‘s growing Italian fan base are in for a treat next year.
Raffy Clementi heads the Nick Elliott Italian page, she helps organise opportunities within the European fine art market, liaises with Italian businesses for sponsorships and negotiates TV and radio interviews, for Nick and elliottstudios. Raffy continues to make the Italian page a resounding success with an ever increasing Nick Elliott fan base and recognition from main stream musicians and rock bands.
Raffy has organised European sales of Nick’s fine art images, interpreting negotiations between Italian clients and elliottstudios.
After discussions at elliottstudios it has been decided that ‘The Story So Far’, Nick’s documentary charting his career and life should be released in Italy, fully translated with Italian subtitles.
This allows ‘The Story So Far’ documentary, produced by award-winning director Andy Blithe of Aturn Films to reach a wider audience across Europe.
“I’m so pleased about the growth of my Italian following and the interest in my art. Italy has always been a country that appreciates art, fashion and style”. (Nick elliott)

Nick has had several interview invites recently, for dissemination in various local magazines and online news publications.
The Norfolk Broads was the most delightful of locations for an interview with John Kerrison, during a warm sunny day at the waters edge. Nick discussed in great depth his latest projects and recent negotiations for his continued workload at elliottstudios. Nick revealed his future plans for the rebranding of elliottstudios, and the complex process of producing and printing his three new publications containing archived unseen images, one of the publications will accompany his USA and UK tours.
Nick also talked about his exciting new experiences of organising his UK and USA tours, the venues that have been sourced and that have accepted his show, the tours content that sees Nick appearing before an audience to discuss his unique life within the rock industry, his personal life, his childhood, his iconic rock images and his reasoning behind his photographic diversity towards his recent dark art images.
Nick also described his experience of lockdown and how his personal revaluation kept elliottstudios financially viable during one of the most difficult times for self-employed creatives.
Additional interviews between Nick, and Lynn News freelance journalist and photographer Jon Seymour have also been completed. All interviews will be published in Norfolk and Suffolk Magazine, Suffolk Magazine, Lynn News, and King’s Lynn Online during December. Look out for these exclusive interviews to gain a comprehensive insight to Nick Elliott

Q3. How often do you workout? In your photos you look pretty fit. (J. Hale. UK)
A3. Depends when she’s in the mood!!! (Nick Elliott)
Q4. What question do you always hate to answer but get asked the most? Big fan of your work, by the way. Are you single? (Kathy Shaw. Florida )
A4. Hi Kathy, the question that I hate the most is ‘What equipment do you use?’ As I’ve said before you can use any camera and still create pieces of art. Thank you for liking my work I appreciate your support. No I’m not single , very much spoken for. (Nick Elliott)
Q5. What’s the strangest thing about you and how do you hide it, if you do? (B. Gutierrez. Italy)

Q1. What are your values for your photography and how do you measure and evaluate them?. (N. Rogers. U.K.)
A1. The values of my images are personally measured with integrity, honesty, authenticity and trust, based on my own known values of morality, integrity and ethics. However, my owns values are not subjected onto others, my images portray my own unique opinion within my own boundaries of creativity and art. (Nick Elliott)
Q2. Do you always see photographic opportunities wherever you go? (J. Brewer. London U.K.)
A2. Yes, pretty much. There is photographic opportunities out there wherever you look, but opportunities to create art are sometimes limited. It’s a representation of oneself, and what you see individually that sets us apart, it’s the opportunity to just take a picture of a moment, or create a piece of individual art, and all art is subjective. ( Nick Elliott)
Q3. I find your recent dark art project is quite intriguing and I’m looking forward to viewing the whole collection. Is this the direction your art is going in now? What about the fear of failure or rejection? (V. Huber. Manchester U.K.)
Q3. Yes it is the direction that my art is going. Creatively this is something that I have to explore which has previously been denied. Unfortunately the fear of failure and rejection is something every artist has to live with because it’s inevitable as art is so personal. If my art gives me satisfaction and evokes an emotion from its audience, wether that be positive or negative, then I feel I have achieved my goal. Art is designed to stir a broad range of emotions from its audience, from repulsion to inspiration. No art can be classed as rubbish, it’s just personal to the viewer wether they find it intriguing and captivating. (Nick Elliott)
Q4. What type of camera do you recommend for an amateur photographer? (J Snow Wales UK)
Q4. What ever one the photographer feels comfortable with. It’s a personal choice. The camera should be an extension of your body, considering balance, weight and even how you carry them. You can create a fantastic photo on one of the most inexpensive cameras, it’s all about your eye, the opportunity and the camera being an extension of you, and how comfortable and capable you are with using it which leads to proficiency. (Nick Elliott)
Q5. I’m struggling with my photography. I can’t seem to make the most of natural light and when I use the flash things look washed out. Have you any tips? (D. Rivers. Birmingham UK)
A5. They are probably washed out because they are overexposed. Shooting on manual brings its own problems, capturing natural light is a technique in itself. You need to know and understand how your camera reads natural light, all different makes of cameras read natural light differently. This is what makes film photography much more difficult than digital. Always shoot on manual, understand your cameras capabilities and bracket your shot. Experiment with lots of different natural light situations and practice. This is all part of the creativity and fun of photography. Hope this helps. (Nick Elliott)

Recently Nick had the rare opportunity to work with several talented and much loved Hollywood A listers. Nick was contacted by a casting agency to consider playing a small but significant role in a Hollywood blockbuster film due for general cinematic release in autumn 2021 across the UK.
It was an early morning set call, on a cold brisk morning, and the filming of Nick’s scene took all day at a secret location.
To reduce the possibility of any leaks to the National Tabloids, no photos were permitted on set as the Hollywood actors were in full costume. Strict Covid -19 restrictions were in place to prevent any chance of the production being closed down. Whilst waiting for the scene set up, Nick mingled with some of the cast and crew.
“ What a fantastic experience. This was a first for me on this kind of level. I’m looking forward to more opportunities. It was wonderful to meet so many interesting people. The main star of the movie is played by an exceptional actor who was extremely kind, with an absolute wicked sense of humour. The professionalism they displayed was top drawer and their talent as a performer was immeasurable. (Nick Elliott)
